Funding my way to SUCCESS!

This past weekend, I hosted my first major fundraising event for the year and I must say the turnout wasn't all that I expected. I'm really appreciative for all of those people who came out and showed their support towards such an amazing cause. Although my Pancake Benefit may be in the past, but that does not mean you have to stop showing your support. Please continue to help out and put me, your local international Student Ambassador/Representative in the South Pacific this summer to represent you and our Nation! Until next time everyone.

My First Orientation Meeting as a Leader

Wow, I must say time has litterly flown by. I really feels like I was just getting an invitation  to the program, when in reality it has been over a year now since I embarked on this life long strive for international peace and knowledge. This past weekend I was able to lead the delegation in a few team building activities, fundraiser information and general overview of the p2p program. I'm so excited because just a few days back, the program office also released my date of departures (June 19, 2011). This adventure has only began and I can't wait to see what's just around the bend as travel rapidly approaches. I'll keep you all posted, thanks for your support!

January Fundraisers

Pancake Breakfast

Date: Saturday January 29, 2011.

Time: 8:30am-11:00am.

Where: First Baptist Church of Fairburn’s Fellowship Building, 23 Malone Street SE, Fairburn, Georgia 30213.

Cost: $5 for Adults, $3 for Children, $15 for groups of 5 or less*

*we will combine groups of over 5 and charge $15 per set of 5.

Join me for my Pancake Benefit Breakfast to help raise funds for my 2011 Journey as a International People to People Student Ambassador. The Breakfast will include Pancakes, Sausage, Coffee and Juice (while supplies last); as well as a special briefing/presentation from Me and a Raffle. I invite everyone in the community to come out and support this amazing cause and help change OUR WORLD FOREVER!

Recycle Drive

When: January 1- 29, 2011.

Where: Online at Jqrp2p.com and at My Pancake Breakfast on January 29, 2011.

Help me and the environment out by donating your Used Ink Cartridges, Discarded Cell phones and used Soda Cans for recycling. I will receive money for your donated items and all of those proceeds will go towards my 2011 journey as an Ambassador. You can click the button below or reply to this email to schedule a pick-up of your items*. You may also drop them of too the First Baptist Church in Fairburn during the Pancake Breakfast (for directions and more information on the breakfast see the Pancake Benefit Breakfast).
